| Protimeter Aquant Non-Invasive Moisture Meter Used to assess and monitor the relative moisture level of materials including plaster, masonry, lumber, gypsum, shingles, concrete, fiberglass (GRP) and many more. It is ideal for checking the relative moisture condition of building elements such as solid walls and floors prior to more rigorous and time-consuming investigative procedures that may be required. Leak paths in shower cubicles (behind ceramic tiles), in caravans/motor homes and mobile homes can be identified with the Aquant before visible water damage occurs. Also, this instrument may be used for surveying GRP boat hulls for the early detection of damp spots that could lead to blistering caused by osmosis. The Aquant has a digital display that is synchronized with a color coded LED scale. The display shows the relative moisture level of the material under investigation on a scale of 0-999 and the color coded LED scale indicates the material’s moisture condition. To use, the Aquant is simply held against the surface of the material under investigation as shown. The relative moisture level is measured by radio frequency to a nominal depth of 10-20mm. | Octi-Dry When water damage occurs and saturates the wall structure, fast drying is essential. Octi-Dry forces warm air through the wall structure, directing it where it is needed most. This results in more thorough structural drying. Octi-Dry works so quickly that in most cases you can avoid major disruption of the customer's home or business. A proven history of QUICK RESPONSE and proper drying, helps to limit the effects of secondary damage, which can meet or exceed that of the original water intrusion. There are two versions: AC511 Standard Octi-Dry for use with ordinary air movers, and AC512 TES Octi-Dry designed specifically for use with TEX units as part of the TES drying system. The ports are 1" in diameter. You insert them into the wall cavity. Octi-Dry is designed (notice the Velcro on the ends) to be used in series. You can put five or more units on a single airmover. One VERY nice feature is the fabric material. You can fold it into a small package for storage (about the size of a one-gallon box). If you've already seen Octi-Dry, it may be time to take another look. The manufacturers have redesigned it over the years to fine tune it more and more.
